Opportunities From: Cultivate Food Rescue

This shift takes place in a REFRIGERATED building, volunteers will be provided with warm gear. Volunteers will work under the supervision of staff to prepare the orders of bagged meals and prepare the shipment for delivery. Other responsibilities may include cleaning after the volunteer shift and other tasks as needed.

You will work with other volunteers under the supervision of the Shift Lead to distribute meals. This takes place in a REFRIGERATED building, volunteers will be provided with warm gear if needed. Volunteers need to be able to work as a team and with accuracy to be successful. Other assigned tasks may include cleaning after the shift, sorting food, and other projects as needed.

Volunteers assist with rescuing food in our community to support our Cultivate Cares Food Network program. Rescue Food Drivers help our team pick up and deliver rescued food. Volunteers may assist loading/unloading inventory, driving to and from food rescue sites, and other projects as needed. This role may require lifting, bending, and working in walk-in coolers or sub-zero freezers. You are a food rescue hero!
