Description
Volunteers work together to package meals in individual trays to help food insecure neighbors in our community. Other responsibilities may include preparing food items for packaging, applying labels to food trays, cleaning after the volunteer shift, and other tasks as needed.
Role
You will work with other volunteers under the supervision of the Volunteer Shift Lead to package meals. Volunteers will work together in an assembly line method to fill trays with food, seal trays, stack finished meals, and other tasks to support the process.
Purpose
The nutritious meals made by volunteers will feed food insecure children and neighbors in our community supported by our Backpack Program.
